A Celebration of 20 Years of Marriage!

On Wednesday, June 11, 2008, Stacy and I are celebrating our 20th anniversary. (And they said it would never last! But enough about my parents.) After 20 years of marriage, I can honestly say these three things:

1. Though I have loved Stacy intensely all these years, I have never been more in love with her than I am right now!

2. Clearly, Stacy is the second best thing to ever happen to me... second only to the day I trust Jesus Christ as my Savior 30 years ago.

3. After all these years, she's still a fascinating and enjoyable mystery to me.

It's precisely in the spirit of #3 that I want to celebrate God's marvelous design of the male and female brain... way to go God! Nice work!

Wait a second... you've been married for 20 years? and you JUST turned 31? you got married when you were ELEVEN????????? and since I know your wife CANNOT be older than 25... that's just down right scary. (And yes I put that last part in to make sure I don't die when someone smart-alecky makes some commment on stacy's age, lol) Congrats and thanks for all the inspiration and blessings that you both are. Can't wait to see you in a week. I'll give you a call later this week to work out any loose ends. God bless.

You are kidding! There's a diffence between a man's brain and a woman's brain. New to me!! :-)

Rita... I sense a little cynicism in your comment.

I could be wrong though... because I'm a man... and I am clueless about what women think... and communicate.
